On the 24th October 2012, the disappearance of His Holiness Sripad Bhaktisvarupa Damodar Maharaja, at the Radha Gopinath temple, which is situated directly on the banks of Radhakunda, many Guru Tattvas and Gour Govinda Swami Who Was He were distributed.  The many devotees (including many of our dear godbrothers from Bhubaneswar) and sannyasis present were very happy to receive these booklets and began reading them immediately.

Sripad Bhaktisvarupa Damodar Maharaja disappearance

Many booklets had been distributed in Vrindavan for our beloved Gurudeva. The MVT restaurant was distributing the Guru Tattva booklet by Srila Gour Govinda Swami to one and all. All 5000 copies of Guru Tattva booklets that were printed have been distributed. This booklet will be printed again soon due to extremely popular demand. Also many, many Gour Govinda Swami Who Was He were distributed for free in Vrindavan. TVP printed 5000 copies of this booklet for Vyasa puja this year and they are almost all distributed. This booklet has become a major favourite with devotees from all around the world.

Even Other Sampradayas Appreciated Gurudeva’s Books

Head of Sri Sampradaya at Rangaji Temple Vrindavan

Devotees from all sampradayas, maths and temples were delighted to receive Gurudeva’s books. The brahmanas were very respectful towards Gurudeva and were eagerly reading the glories of our beloved Gurudeva. Even the Sri Vaisnavas, coming in the line of Sri Ramanuja Acarya, at the Rangha-ji temple in Vrindavan were delighted to receive the booklet Gour Govinda Swami Who Was He.

The head of the Rudra Sampradaya, Jai Rama dasa Baba who lives at the Kaladhari Bagicha Ashram which is quoted as being the oldest ashram in Vrindavana was also very happy to receive some of Gurudeva’s books. Gurudeva’s words and glories are not just appreciated in our sampradaya but even in the Sri and Rudra sampradayas. Also many of the shopkeepers in Loi Bazaar received Gour Govinda Swami Who Was He!

Srila Gour Govinda Swami Puspa Samadhi

Sankara Pandita prabhu

Books are being distributed from the Srila Gour Govinda Swami Puspa Samadhi in Vrindavana where the daily deity worship and the worship of our beloved Gurudeva are maintained by Sankara Pandita prabhu.  This is one of the few places where one can really feel our Gurudeva’s mood, just as when he was physically present. There is a very nice atmosphere! During the month of Kartik a bull calf was born on the property of the holy ashram. Building of the Puspa Samadhi and temple will begin in a few months.

Another place in Vrindavana  dedicated to our beloved Gurudeva is the Srila Gour Govinda Swami Seva Ashram, which has been developed and maintained by Senan prabhu and his good son Dina; Books distributed that night were Guru Tattva, Gour Govinda Swami Who Was He and Encountering part one. Senan prabhu is also building a very large temple in Jagannathapur (the birth place of Gurudeva) in honour of our beloved Gurudeva.

 Gurudeva’s Books Around the Globe

At some places devotees totally swamped TVP members while trying to obtain a copy of Gurudeva’s transcendental words and glories. Boxes with 240 Guru Tattvas or 120 Gour Govinda Swami Who Was He were emptied in less then 5 – 10 minutes.
