Anniversary of the 20th Disappearance Day
‘duḥkha-madhye kona duḥkha haya gurutara?’
‘kṛṣṇa-bhakta-viraha vinā duḥkha nāhi dekhi para’
Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu asked, “Of all kinds of distress, what is the most painful?”
Śrī Rāmānanda Rāya replied, “Apart from separation from the devotee of Kṛṣṇa, I know of no unbearable unhappiness.”
On the Holy Appearance day of Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura Prabhupāda we celebrate this year the 20th Disappearance Day of our most beloved spiritual master Śrī Śrīmad Gour Govinda Swami Mahārāja. As a humble offering the team of Tattva Vicara Publications presents two booklets and one book to Śrīla Gurudeva on this auspicious day.

This is a note from Vrindavan dasa in Mayapura about the distribution of the two TVP books, Mayapura ’79 & Vrndavana ’75:
We’re pumped out several hundred books, as the devotees have gathered in greater numbers now for the Gaura Purnima Fetival, Kirtan Mela, etc…, Many M 1979’s and V 1975’s passed out at the book table in front of the temple and also for the 20 year memorial program at the Mayapur community center yesterday.
Lagudi Prabhu (everyday 15-30 books with his backpack and cowboy hat) Janikinatha (book table) , Pradosh, Vrajesvari, Lila Avatara and several other devotees are joining in to hand out freely these two TVP books. I have only a couple hundred left of Mayapur 1979’s. It would be time to re-print…..
We still have a few thousand of Vrindavan 1975’s. Thank God! But they’re going fast….
