A lecture delivered by Śrī Śrīmad Gour Govinda Swami Mahārāja on the 2nd September 1995, Gadai- Giri, India.Pārvati again inquired at the lotus feet of Śivajī, “Why is Rādhārāṇī not opening Her eyes?”
Śivajī said, “O Devī, that is a very wonderful story. When Lord Hari wanted to descend here to the material world He called Rādhā and said, “You will also take birth in the material world, with Me. We will manifest wonderful līlās there.” Rādhā said, “O My dear lotus-eyed Hari, if I take birth in the material world I will be very distressed. I only see Youṛ form. I cannot see the form of other men.” Kṛṣṇa said, “O Devī, You will not feel any distress. You will always see My form. You will not see any other male form.” (To read more open the booklet below.)

…..The easiest path is to ask for the dust from the lotus feet of Srimati Radharani!… “When shall I get it and put that dust on my head? When will that day come when I’ll be a maidservant of Srimati Radharani?”
Do you pray for it? You have to pray, yes. That’s the only prayer. “I’ll reside on the banks of the river Yamuna. When that day will come?” Because that is the favorite of Srimati Radharani, Yamuna river. She used to take Her bath in Yamuna river. “If I’ll stay there then get Her association, kind association. She may listen to my prayer.”
He Rädhe! “O Radharani! Please shower Your mercy on me. I am Your maidservant, däsé.”…Are you a maidservant of Radharani? Become!! Become soon a maidservant of Srimati Radharani otherwise you cannot get Krishna!
“O Srimati Radharani, Radhe! Please shower Your mercy on me, who is Your maidservant. I am Your däsé, I am Your maidservant, please accept me as such and shower Your mercy on me.” This is prayer.

Nruhari Das: Often it is said that we cannot chant the name of Srimati Radharani first because that is sahajyä.
Srila Gurudeva: No, no. Krishna is always with Radharani. Krishna is never without Radharani. He rädhe! means Radhe with Krishna. Krishna is always with Radharani.
Nruhari Das: We can’t chant “jaya rädhe, jaya rädhe.”?
Srila Gurudeva: Why not?… Glorifying Srimati Radharani. Radharani is never alone. She’s always with Krishna and Her mercy is required to approach Krishna. Therefore we pray to Srimati Radharani. Therefore we chant Hare Krsna, first Hare then Krishna. How do you say we are not chanting Radharani’s name? Hare means Radharani, that is our kértana, that is our prayer, that is our job, that is our remembrance, smaraëa , everything,
Hare Krsna, Hare Krsna, Krsna Krsna, Hare Hare
First, “O Radharani,“ then, “O Krishna.”….
Nruhari Das: What is the best way to pray to Srimati Radharani ?
Srila Gurudeva: Chanting Hare Krishna!
Nruhari Das: Many people chant Hare Krsna, but they don’t get the dust from Radharani ‘s lotus feet.
Srila Gurudeva: Because they don’t want it! They don’t want it! They never desire for it, so how they can get? One should be very eager to get the mercy of Srimati Radharani, the dust from Her lotus feet.
Nruhari Das: Do we have to pray to the spiritual master?, or….
Srila Gurudeva: Who is the spiritual master? What is his real form? Spiritual master is the girl companion of Srimati Radharani. First approach spiritual master then you can approach Radharani, then approach Krishna. Otherwise not at all possible!
