Demons and Rakshasas Attack Bhubaneswar Temple Again
The demons (those who are attached to lusty desires) and rakshasas (maneaters) have attacked the Bhubaneswar Temple again. They have destroyed the Bhajan-kutir of Śrīla AC Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupāda, for the second time; and have now destroyed the samādhi of His Divine Grace Ācārya Ṭhākura Śrīla Gour Govinda Swami. The divine and sacred body of His Divine Grace will now have to be moved.
The perpetrators of this dastardly deed will dwell in hell for thousands of lifetimes!

I tried to contact the PM according to your information given. There seems to be no good connection. The posts for not show up on his page. Can you tell me please how to report our grievance in such a way that it actually gets there?
There is some petition to sign, but it has an old date of August 6 2012 incident, not the most recent one.

Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation lies and says ISKCON encroached highway land. The samadhi was there since 1996 even before the highway project existed. The highway project began in 2001 and was completed in 2012.
ISKCON even gave some of their own land for the widening of the highway. Yet now they lie and claim ISKCON encroached the highway and built on highway land.
Mahapurusha Achyutananda said the fish will play on the 22 steps of puri temple. They think they can solve water logging by destroying the samadhis of saints but it will lead to the entire city being under water.

Tamohara prabhu understands our Gurudeva’s great position. If the whole of the mission understood this they would all be in Bhubaneswar trying to save the samadhi, what to speak of the bhajan kutir of Srila Prabhupada. This is a very sad day.

This problem is not new.
Srila Prabhupada ‘s bhajan kutir was built on Iskcon land in the 70s long before the national highway came there.
When the highway came the front of the temples land was claimed for use of the new highway and notice was given to The temple that the land no longer belongs to Iskcon.
They can take away the land even if you legally own it .
The kutir was in the way of their planned highway so it had to go.
An appeal was made and the government ministers of the time agreed to allow the kutir, samadhi to remain and engineers were asked to modify their plans .
The flooding is caused by the lack of drainage which the engineers neglected.
The temple management was mislead into believing the kutir, samadhi would never be demolished and did not make plan to move it.
If the government want they can seize any land they want for roads etc and that is what has basically happened.

I am in complete shock and don’t even know what to think or do! This is so hard to accept! How could this happen? Where lies our weakness? How to rally and take action?
I am disgusted at this. This is one of the few sacred sites still left where Srila Prabhupada stayed that ISKCON own, many were rented buildings or have now been sold. However this is a sacred site of Srila Prabhupada’s bhajan-kutir and the sacred site of Srila Gour Govinda Swami’s samadhi. Absolutely disgusting that the Indian/Orissa governement would do this.

I bet if it was Muslim holy place they would not it . Modern day Aurangzebs , who commited similar atrocities in Sri Vrindavan dham few hundred years ago .Sri Ragunatha Das Goswami samadhi attacked in similar way by then demons. These Government officials do not realise they are dealing with a true Vaisnava here. They are so fortunate to have taken birth in India and it is their duty to spread the Vedas to all living entities. How have they become blind?
The Skanda Purāṇa discribes:

That foolish person who criticizes an exalted Vaiṣṇava falls down to the hell known as Mahā-raurava, along with his forefathers. Whoever (1) kills a Vaiṣṇava, (2) blasphemes him, (3) feels malice toward him, (4) does not properly greet him upon seeing him, (5) becomes angry with him or (6) does not feel joy upon seeing him, certainly becomes degraded as a result of these six types of misconduct.

If it is Government land, as the media and the disciples of the media are saying, then why did the Government, earlier in the piece, offer the devotees of ISKCON Bhubaneswar 51 lakhs to purchase it and the devotees of ISKCON Bhubaneswar refused? What is happening to India’s spiritual heritage, where is the Prime Minister?

Yes! If I remember correctly, these are not illegal buildings. Gurudeva told me personally that he purchased this land and was going to build another temple on this property. The land is legally ISKCON land.

a) to a significant historically important building such as Prabhupāda’s Bhajan-kutir and also the samādhi of Gour Govinda Swami
b) how is it they are even on ISKCON land in the first place?
No words to describe how I feel at this point in time – none –
All I know is that EVERYONE involved in these despicable acts WILL be required to pay.
